Uté (Igbo: mat) is Udiri’s considered approach to everyday tableware. Shaped in a soft organic oval, each piece is crafted from FSC-certified cellulose fibre and finished with a matte, tactile surface that quietly protects your table from heat, spills, and everyday wear.
Featuring Udiri’s signature surface patterns — Rogo™ and Aya™ — Uté brings together grounded geometry and gentle rhythm. Abstracted from agricultural forms and reimagined as calm surface language, the patterns allow colour, texture, and material to take the lead without overwhelming the space.
Uté is crafted from carefully repurposed off-cut materials, giving new form and purpose to remnants within Udiri’s surface system. Designed for daily rituals — from morning coffee to shared meals — it sits comfortably at the intersection of function, craft, and contemporary home design.
